KISS Announces New 'End Of The Road' Documentary Focusing On Final Tour

October 27, 2026

Legendary rockers KISS will release a new documentary, "Kiss: End Of The Road", this fall. The film, directed by DJ Viola and produced by Leslie Greif of Big Dreams Entertainment and Elemeno Productions, is set to debut first on the band's web site, powered by streaming technology partner Kiswe, followed by other platforms.

With unprecedented access to KISS's historic "End Of The Road" world tour, "Kiss: End Of The Road" chronicles the final live chapter of one of rock's most legendary bands, capturing the camaraderie, conflicts, challenges, and emotion behind their journey to one last performance at Madison Square Garden, while also exploring how the band plans to carry its legacy forward in the years ahead.

"The 'End Of The Road' world tour was the culmination of fifty years of touring to elevate the live concert experience for fans old and new. A defining moment in KISS history," KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley says. "The documentary takes everyone along with us to see and be a part of all the unseen moments that made this last tour one of the wildest, most memorable rides of our career. We can't wait for the world to see it through our eyes for the very first time and relive the magic of these shows."

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons adds: "This documentary showcases the closing chapter of our touring career, back in New York where it all started for us. The Madison Square Garden shows were full of raw energy and the film gives an inside perspective for the very first time. We can't wait for everyone to see it and experience the world of KISS in a way they've never seen before."

The band will premiere the film across several platforms, to be announced throughout fall, beginning with a special live streaming event on KissOnline.com on November 19. The event will be presented by Mercury Studios, the world's leading music-focused content studio, following its hugely successful live stream of Ozzy Osbourne's final live performance in 2025.

The documentary is available for pre-order ahead of its November 19 live premiere on KissOnline.com, with pricing starting at $14.99 and regional pricing available. Fans will also have a seven-day viewing window following the premiere. KISS VIP and KISS Army members will also receive exclusive discount codes, delivered directly to members.

Attendees of the upcoming "Kiss Kruise: Land-Locked In Vegas" will be the first fans in the world to get an exclusive sneak peek at "Kiss: End Of The Road" ahead of its global premiere. Taking place November 13-15 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, the event will bring together the KISS Army for a weekend of live performances, member appearances, exclusive activities and unforgettable fan experiences, including two unmasked KISS sets (one acoustic and one electric) and a historic Ace Frehley all-star tribute. Limited tickets are available.

KISS played its two final shows ever in December 2023 at New York City's Madison Square Garden. The last show, held on December 2, 2023, streamed live on pay-per-view.

KISS launched its farewell trek in January 2019 but was forced to put it on hold in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"End Of The Road" was originally scheduled to conclude on July 17, 2021 in New York City. The trek was announced in September 2018 following a KISS performance of the band's classic song "Detroit Rock City" on "America's Got Talent".

In early 2024, KISS sold its entire music catalog, likeness and brand name to Swedish company Pophouse Entertainment. A biopic, an avatar show, and a KISS-themed experience are in the works, with Simmons and Stanley playing key roles in the development of all these projects, working closely with Pophouse.

KISS's "End Of The Road" lineup consisted of original members Stanley and Simmons, alongside later band additions, guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer (on and off since 1991).

Formed in 1973 by Stanley, Simmons, guitarist Ace Frehley and drummer Peter Criss, KISS staged its first "farewell" tour in 2000, the last to feature the group's original lineup.

Stanley and Simmons were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame with the rest of KISS's original lineup in 2014.

In December 2025 KISS received the Kennedy Center Honors.

Frehley died in October 2025 after a fall at his New Jersey home. He was 74 years old.
